WHO I AM AND WHAT I DO

Hi, my name is Kate Hansen

I competed in a sport called luge for 11 years and had the opportunity to represent Team USA at the Sochi Olympics. After competing in 2014, I retired and returned to college to finish my degree. Despite a fulfilling athletic career, I struggled for years with sleeping and was diagnosed with a sleeping disorder called "Idiopathic Hyperinsomnia." Medication was prescribed, I was told there was no cure and that I would be chronically sleepy the rest of my life.

I was led to a footzoner who, upon looking at my feet, immediately asked about any concussions I had without knowing my background. By working on my feet and changing my diet, she helped restore my body processes and I haven't taken my medication since. A few months later, I experienced my first full night of sleep in years.

I studied Footzonology under the Nordblom Institute and have been practicing for 6 years. I have since worked on clients with ailments ranging from autoimmune disease, cancer recovery, hormone deficiencies and pregnancy. I feel very grateful to be able to share my story and help others on their own journey. If you're struggling, I'd love to be a resource. It's never too late to start your journey to health.
